Russia accuses CNBC’s Hadley Gamble of being a ‘sex object’ sent to distract Putin

Russian state media is accusing CNBC’s Hadley Gamble of acting “as a sex object” to distract President Vladimir Putin — even suggesting the veteran journalist is part of a US “special operation.”

The seasoned scribe — who has also worked for ABC and Fox — became front-page news after she interviewed Putin while wearing a tight black dress at a Russian Energy Week panel in Moscow last week.

The 69-year-old Russian leader was caught on camera making flirty faces with her before they went onstage — where he then suggested she was “too beautiful” to understand some of his answers, The Hill noted.

But state media went further — accusing Gamble, 39, of being an operative sent to distract Putin, just as he’d allegedly used an attractive translator to try to get the upper hand over President Donald Trump at a 2019 meeting.

According to translations by the Daily Beast, Vladimir Soloviev told his state radio show that Gamble distracted Putin with her “sex appeal” — and acted “like she was in the movie ‘9½ Weeks’ or ‘Basic Instinct.'”

Notorious propagandist Dmitry Kiselyov also insisted on state TV’s “Vesti Nedeli” that the TV reporter acted “shamelessly” and “cast wistful glances,” according to the report.

He even claimed she provocatively moved her bare legs — calling it her “basic instinct,” in an apparent reference to Sharon Stone’s infamous leg-crossing scene in the racy movie, the outlet noted.

Hadley squeezed into a tight black dress, fluffed up her flowing hair, and put on a pair of nude leg-lengthening Louboutin high-heel pumps,” he said, saying her legs were “covered in shimmering body oil, as though this wasn’t a work assignment.”

Gamble “worked her body language to the fullest,” he told viewers, moving her legs, constantly playing with her hair, licking her lips, and “rolling out her tongue.”

He accused the journalist of having “behaved boldly, openly positioning herself as a sexual object,” the Daily Beast noted.

While hosting the popular state TV show “60 Minutes,” Olga Skabeeva concluded that Gamble must be part of a US “special operation” targeting Putin, the Daily Beast also noted.

“Look at Comrade Gamble, she is also a beauty. Look at Megyn Kelly, she is the woman the Americans brought the last time. She was a blonde, this time it’s a brunette,” Skabeeva said, saying the two journalists are “in the same age and weight category.”

“They keep trying to get to Putin,” Skabeeva said, according to the report.

Former politician Mikhail Markelovm also described Gamble as America’s “secret weapon” who was “sent” as a counter-response to Putin’s translator, the outlet noted of another state TV appearance.

Gamble marveled at some of the coverage herself, holding up the front page of a newspaper that showed the pair on stage at an angle that showed off her long, bare legs.
